Bill Me Later, Inc., an eBay company seeks Database Marketing Analyst in Timonium, Maryland.
JOB DUTIES: Execute, track, and analyze Bill Me Later (BML) marketing campaigns. Serve as the point of resolution for internal customer requests for BML marketing campaign related data. Design campaign tests, perform test analysis, and provide recommendations based on test results. Leverage customer information to develop campaign models and perform segmentation analyses for various marketing channels to optimize campaign effectiveness and return on investment. Develop and maintain cross functional proficiency within selected BML, PayPal and eBay departments, including Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Credit. Regularly query large datasets (SAS, SQL) for campaign execution, analysis and ad hoc marketing analytics purposes. Proactively research the information to meet the needs of the marketing team and other end users. Attend ongoing training and develop knowledge in all areas of the department as well as industry knowledge relating to small businesses, risk management and on-line business practices. Work in a team environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Operations Research, Business Administration, Engineering or a closely related field OR Bachelors degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Operations Research, Business Administration, Engineering or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the Job Offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in statistical analysis or marketing/data analysis.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Must have work experience or completed coursework in the following: SQL and SAS; using Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; and knowledge of statistics. Experience may be gained through work experience and/or academic training. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
