We're looking for an OR Nurse to support our surgeons with hands-on patient care.
The Registered Nurse is under the direction of the ASC Administrator.

Responsibilities:
Keeps patients and their families informed about surgical procedures Administers medication and uses medical equipment under the direction of surgeon Assesses and responds to patients' health and manages emergencies accordingly Works with surgeson, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregives to create a comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op Maintain and submit documentation of required current licensure and/or certification Responsible for knowing current policies and procedures, protocol and practices of the Center Function within scope of practice based on licensure, education, skills, and experience; Recognize own limitations and asks for guidance when necessary The job will be Monday thru Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
Work hours may be subject to change, depending on surgery schedule COMPENSATION:
Pay Range:
$40-50/hour Education and experience may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
Minimum
Qualifications:
ASC experience preferred.
Minimum two years of OR experience.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Has a current state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
Demonstrate current, comprehensive, professional knowledge and skills in conformance with recognized nursing standards and department policies including the Patient Bill of Rights and AAAHC regulations, Standards for Nursing Care, and the Nurse Practice Act.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in the Center.
Effective communicator that appreciates and respects others' needs, opinions, and concerns.
Hazards:
Occasional contact with communicable diseases, electrical equipment, blood borne pathogens, etc.
Personal protective equipment:
Provided if necessary (gowns, gloves, masks, head cover)
