Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding a Senior Account Manager of Employee Benefits to theirWarner Companiesteam in Timonium, MD.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for leading and managing mid to large sized group benefits client engagements and serving as strategic advisor to clients.
Manages a wide variety of complex projects involving the design, pricing, funding, implementation and management of a full suite of Health and Group Benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits.
Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:

Case Management and Service:
Serve as the primary contact and strategist for assigned book of businessManage the relationship and day-to-day operations of the clients benefit plans providing daily service, consultative advice and issue resolutionConduct renewal and marketing efforts and take the lead role in carrier selection and/or financial negotiationsAnalyze and compare vendor products, services and contractsReview agreements, carrier contracts and employee booklets for accuracy and work with vendors to address contractual or procedural issues with the planPrepare monthly experience reports, client stewardship reports, executive summaries and renewal/marketing presentationsArticulate plan design alternatives including self-funding, level-funding, ASO, ATP arrangements, wellness strategies and ways to streamline administrative functionsConduct benchmarking studies and other research; must be able to draw conclusions, interpret and summarize findingsDevelop mutually beneficial relationships with insurance carriers and administrators to generate optimal results for clients.
Manage complex implementations of new plans or new vendorsConduct research, compare, implement and manage wellness programs and benefit technology system vendorsSchedule and lead client meetings and attend enrollment meetings as necessaryFollow departmental policies and procedures for filing documents and recording client decisionsCoordinate and direct the efforts of Account Manager or Benefit Analyst to fulfill service responsibilities and objectivesProvide peer review to other team membersDevelop prospective client proposals and respond to RFPsManage dependent and/or claim audits with vendor partner (as needed)International benefit plan management (as needed)Research, implementation, and ongoing managementBe able to present and understand the benefitsManage broker partner in local countries2.
Compliance:
Educate clients on laws and regulations that impact the operation of benefit plansCreate and maintain client's annual service and compliance calendarCoordinate completion, review and updates of all Plan Documents, SPDs, SMMs, SARs, 5500s and ensure timely completion, filing and/or distribution of these documentsProvide assistance to clients in providing required notices and documents to employeesEnsure benefit guide is updated to include new or latest versions of all required noticesEducate clients on laws and regulations that impact the operation of benefit plansEnhance knowledge by continually monitoring changes in healthcare reform3.
Revenue Growth:
Identify opportunities to sell new lines of coverage within the Group Benefits DivisionCross sell additional TWC servicesAsk for referrals to other companies or individualsEnsure TWC is receiving the correct commission for all lines of coverageRequirements:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business-related field or advanced college degree8 years of experience in health and welfare consulting, or employee benefit account managementMust have some experience in working with mid- to large-size clientsA life and health license is requiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Basic knowledge of the principles and procedures for compensation and benefits.
Strong skill in written and verbal communication including comprehension, expression and presentationStrong skill in strong project management and organizational; demonstrate attention to detailStrong analysis and creative skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
