Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking aCommunity Supports and Day Program Manager who will be responsible for a day program that offers supports to adults with intellectual disabilities.
The program uses a person-centered, individualized approach so that participants have the opportunity to engage in social, recreational, employment and other activities that meet their personal goals.
Some services are facility-based though the goal is to provide services in the community as much as possible.

Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operation of a program that supports approximately 75 adults with intellectual disabilities Supervises a Program Supervisor, Program Coordinator and approximately 25 Direct Support Professionals Responsible for all aspects of the day program, including management of staff, transportation, case management, recordkeeping, activities coordination, internal and external communication and nursing.
Ensures that licensing and other regulations are met.
Manages a budget that includes payroll, program expenses, admissions and the efficient use of staff.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
At least five years of experience directing a program or supporting program operations/administration in a large agency is preferred.
Driving (Agency and/or personal vehicle) is required for this position.
Driver must be at least 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
There can be no state issued restrictions on the licenses that would impede driver's ability to operate the vehicle as required by the Agency, and there must not be more than three (3) points on their driving record.
Medication Certification by an approved DDA course must be obtained within three months of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, stand for periods of time, bend, push wheelchairs, provide physical intervention as necessary, and be able to life and/or transfer people.
