Job Description
TESSCO is assembling a new team of innovators and thought leaders that focus on scouring and building the wireless marketplace for the latest applications of new technologies and solutions. The Solutions Innovation team is responsible for identifying and cultivating promising new ways businesses and consumers are using technologies in wireless to create solutions, and then working with a cross-functional team to accelerate adoption and launch.
Lead a cross-functional team to develop and grow the Fleet Management and Tank Monitoring service lines of business.
Work with Marketing to gain deep customer insights through primary and secondary market research, and determine competitive strategy, solution portfolio, positioning, and pricing of services enabled by wireless devices and data plans, tracking platforms, and applications.
Collaborate with vendors to deliver a robust solution platform for customers and reseller/integrator partners.
Facilitate the development and delivery of outbound marketing, training, sales tools/artifacts, and targeted communications that engage both internal and external audiences in new solutions and position TESSCO as a thought leader in the wireless space
Partner with the eCommerce team to reference new solutions on our website, creating visibility and guiding customers through the process of selecting the best Solution for their needs.
Work with Training to develop Customer, Sales, and Support training on the Solutions.
Partner with Solutions Architecture / Engineering and Operations to define and continually enhance the customer on-boarding and maintenance process for each service element. Maniacally focus on the customer experience and seek to simplify and enhance the customer experience and value.
Manage vendor mix and performance, and work with device team to onboard new device vendors.
Work with Analytics team to develop deep insights into customer needs and behaviors.
Required Skills
Advanced classical Product Management skills with emphasis on internal processes development. This is not a technology development role! Highly desired: Training in Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Pragmatic Marketing, or Product Management certification. Experience developing process flows, conducting primary research, formulating strategy, developing case studies, creating business cases, developing marketing collateral, general comfort with technology including wireless services, cross-functional team management, project management.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams to bring new complex offerings to market, or to enhance them in ways that solve complex client / customer challenges.
Strategic thinker with ability to guide core team through product marketing, business case development, roadmap development.
Highly entrepreneurial and able to act as the CEO of the Solution.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, engaging stakeholders in the potential of realizing new solutions and product offerings.
Analytical rigor, being able to assemble data, glean the key insights, and justify the business case which leads to action and forward progress.
End-to-End project management from vision to execution with a strong results-orientation and self-starter mentality, championing innovation throughout the organization.
Ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed and dynamic organization and comfort with ambiguity
A plus: Knowledge of Fleet Management and Tank Monitoring industry and solutions, experience developing customer personas and conducting customer trials, knowledge of M2M / IoT industry, devices, platforms, and mobile applications, wireless data plans, and APIs
Required Experience
4-year college degree or equivalent combination of documented experience, MBA a plus
5-10+ years experience leading product development, strategic planning, internal consulting, product innovation, or product marketing
Wireless industry experience a plus, technical knowledge of wireless products a plus, not a requirement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
