Ventev is the entrepreneurial, dynamic start-up division of TESSCO, a well-established supplier in the wireless industry. Ventev Mobile focuses specifically on developing accessories for mobile devices. You will see how products are brought to market, and will be instrumental in the testing and design recommendations of those products. A successful candidate will have a self-starter attitude that doesnt fear asking why and is interested in current mobile devices.Responsibilities:Work with Ventev Mobile Device Accessory Engineering team Collaborate with Product Development teams to design and develop high quality products Participate in product performance benchmarking activities Participate in the creation of detailed electrical technical specs for development of new or modifications to existing products Update/create test templates and test plans for testing new products Help analyze returned product for electrical failures Provide assistance to Customer Service team placing orders for warranty productsQualifications: Experience using equipment such as DC power supplies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, electronic load machines, and logic analyzers Working toward Engineering Degree preferably Electrical Engineering Experience soldering and building mechatronic projects a plus Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and Word Capable of using data acquisition software, preferably Lab View Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits, including PCB and component level aptitude Good mechanical and electrical aptitude Strong statistical analysis skills with the ability to design experiments a plus Capable of using CAD software, preferably Solid Works TESSCO is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
