Maintenance Manager

Description Position Objective: Plans, directs, and controls maintenance team of up to 20 associates. (Across 24/7 operations). Will develop and analyze e-maintenance data base to improve overall operations excellence relative to machine up time and maintenance personal productivity. Will leverage tools and leadership to train, manage and drive accountability for all maintenance personnel. Individual will be responsible for all preventative maintenance programs for all machinery including the installation of a spare parts program for each piece of Capital Equipment. In addition, the individual will have responsibility for facilities maintenance and repair. Essential job functions: SUPERVISES THE UTILIZATION OF ALL REPORTING PERSONNEL. COACHES AND FACILITATES HIGH PERFORMANCE BEHAVIORS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES. UTILIZIES PTM'S BUSINESS PROCESS' AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS TO FOCUS AND ALIGN WORK EFFORTS. HANDS ON LEADER WHO CONSISTENTLY DEMONSTRATES AND COACHES OTHERS ON PROBLEM SOLVING, TPM AND EFFECTIVE EQUIPMENT MAITENANCE AND REPAIR. BECOME SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT IN THE APPLICATION OF THE TPM UTILZING THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TOOLBOX. IMPLEMENT AND LEAD DAILY MANAGEMENT OF APPROPRIATE MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES. DEVELOP REPORT OUT TO OPERATIONS TEAM. DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT COUNTERMEASURES FOR RE-OCCURING ISSUES. QUOTE OUT CAPITAL PROJECTS, PREPARE AND SUBMIT CAPITAL PROJECTS (IPAs), SUPERVISE AND TROUBLESHOOT TO BRING DESIGNPROJECTS TO FRUITION, ON-TIME AND ON BUDGET. SELECTS, TRAINS, APPRAISES AND DEVELOPS REPORTING PERSONNEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNION CONTRACT. PROMOTES GROWTH AND ACHIEVEMENT OF DIRECT REPORTS. PARTICIPATES IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND DIRECTING OF SAFETY PROCEDURES TO MINIMIZE THE FREQUENCY AND SEVERITY OF ACCIDENTS. ADHERES TO THE ESTABLISHED ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES (OSHA). DEVELOPS 1,3,5 YR STRATEGIES FOR CAPITAL SPEND FOR THE 3 MANUFACTURING SITES. IDENTIFIES AND IMPLEMENTS NEW PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS TO ACHIEVE CYCLE TIME REDUCTIONS AND REDUCE LABOR CONTENT. REVIEWS ATTENDANCE AND TARDINESS OF PERSONNEL AND TAKES DISCIPLINARY ACTION AS REQUIRED WITHIN THE UNIFORM GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED. PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS REQUIRED. UNDERSTANDS AND COMPLIES WITH COMPANY SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AS RELATED TO THIS POSITION, INCLUDING READING ALL RELEVANT SAFETY LITERATURE, USING REQUIRED PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND PRACTICING GOOD HOUSEKEEPING. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: 4 YEAR DEGREE AND AT LEAST FIVE (5) YEARS OF SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING / MAINTENANCE SETTING. WELL VERSED IN MICROSOFT OFFICE. MUST BE ABLE TO USE EXCEL, POWERPOINT TO DEVELOP REPORTS, PRESENTATIONS AND ANALYZE NECESSARY DATA EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH WRITTEN AND ORAL IS REQUIRED OCCASIONAL TRAVEL MAY BE REQUIRED ABILITY TO LEAD AND DIRECT SKILLED AND GENERAL SKILLED WORKFORCE. BUSINESS ACUMEN MUST POSSESS EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SILLS, RESULT ORIENTED, CREATIVE AND SELF-MOTIVATED. MUST BE ABLE TO MAKE SOUND DECISIONS. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
