About this role: The Applications Architect influences the development and implementation of Information Services (I.S.) strategy, initiatives, and governing policies.  He/She assembles detailed reviews of the enterprise and documents capabilities and conceives approaches to aligning technical solutions with business needs. The Applications Architect will assist in defining the direction for projects and solution architecture.  The Applications Architectsupports I.S. leadership by planning and championing the execution of broad initiatives aimed at delivering value to internal and external stakeholders.  He/She leverages data, technical, and business knowledge to drive the development of capability frameworks at portfolio and enterprise levels.  He/She is involved throughout the project life cycle with emphasis on the initiation, feasibility, and analysis phases.  He/She will create well-reasoned action plans based on findings; demonstrate creative and practical solutions.  He/She will share information about the strategy, structures, processes, procedures and key technical elements of the enterprise; translates knowledge of the interrelationships between technical elements into business strategies; applies enterprise perspective and impact into business and business representative issues; plays a key role in the development of best practices and/or the pioneering of new approaches.  He/She will also enforce security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring data security profiles; investigates possible security violations; demonstrates understanding of the use of firewalls and encryption routines; educates others about security policies. Minimum Qualifications: Expert with Architectural Patterns, Architecture and Product Roadmapping, Multi-tier Application Architecture, Knowledge of Standards and Governance Policies and Procedures, Microservices, NoSQL Database Platforms, Public and Private Cloud Capabilities 2+ years of architectural experience Attention to Detail, Workflow Analysis, Effective communication  Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors' and/or Masters' degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or the equivalent in work experience Job ID: 181916

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
