Katzen Eye Group is seeking an Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician.
This individual is responsible for providing as well as performing diagnostic tests as required by the Ophthalmologist and Optometrist and administering treatment as allowed and ordered by the physician.
Eyecare Services Partners will now only consider candidates who can verify prior to hire that they either have been fully vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus or have started the vaccine process by having their initial dose before starting in their new position and are committed to completing that process within 30 days of starting work.

Responsibilities Communication and Patient Care:
Uses autorefractor and lensometers (automatic and manual) Performs visual field tests Performs OCT Performs Cell Count Perform B-scan Perform Orbscan/Pentacam Performs Iol Master, as well as Manuel A-scan Performs Fundus Photo Performs Clarus Monitors patient flow, ensuring the physician exam rooms are always full after testing Escorts patients to front desk after exam Administative:
Ensures that exam rooms are tidied between patients, including cleaning sinks and sanitizing equipment Cleans all lenses used by doctors Billing and Coding is billed and ordered (crossed trained over time) Essential Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of medical and ophthalmic terminology Knowledge of EHR/Zeiss Forum Knowledge of Diagnostic Equipment Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Positive team member Strong organization with attention to detail Demonstrated computer literacy Ability to check visual acuity, applanation, history taking, pupil assessment, EOM's and confrontation field of vision Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Two years experience in a healthcare setting; ophthalmology preferred In Turn We Will Provide:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
